We are running introductory Rock Band workshops over this coming half term. Open to those in Years 5 to 8, all abilities welcome however some basic knowledge for those wishing to play guitar and drums is preferable.

We are now fully installed at Globe House in central Chichester (Flint building just opposite the main entrance to the station), you’re welcome to come and have a look round anytime. We’re open from 2pm through to 8pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday.

Performance opportunities for the younger bands (up to the age of 16), particularly out of school, tend to be minimal, so we will be organizing open mic sessions, young band nights and the young band showcase which is held at the West Dean Festival. Please get in contact if you are in a school band and would like more information on this.

Introductory ‘Rock Band’ workshops will be run at regular intervals on Saturdays and during school holidays. Workshop will also take place at the Cobstock Festival and West Dean Festival during the summer. These programmes are ideally aimed at those in years 5 to 8 and offer an introduction to singing and playing in a band, including some improvisation and performance technique. Beginners are welcome, however some previous tuition is required for those who wish to play the guitar or drums in the band.
